Information about past Good Folk Fests
The first ever Good Folk Fest happened November 17-19, 2006 at the Mellwood Arts & Entertainment  Center in Louisville, KY.

A crowd of 1,200 or more people were introduce to over 80 local, regional, and internationally known outsider, visionary and folk artists and witnessed performances from 15 Unique musicians.

The exciting broadcast of Good Folk Fest LIVE Lunch and the radio exposure that was given to the event the week prior, created much enthusiasm and brought folks to the event hungry for more unusual entertainment. 

The wonderful articles written by Louisville's finest reporters helped to educate and inform people of this fantastic event, which generated excitement and support from art lovers, collectors and curious people from all over the continent.

Many Good Folk helped to make Good Folk Fest a huge success and has established Good Folk Fest as a Permanent addition to a prestigious list of Kentucky's Art and Music Festivals.
